In early 2020, I had the opportunity to work on a feature for Seer Interactive, a digital analytics and marketing firm, called Saving Benjamin Lite™. This feature, used for several years before being retired, was a web application that allowed users to upload search term reports and quickly receive a comprehensive analysis of individual search term effectiveness.
The initial work, completed in the spring of 2019 by a former colleague, included a Go-based backend responsible for the keyword analysis. After the original developer on the project moved on from Sparkbox, I was designated as the sole developer on the project in the winter of 2020. Over two weeks, I was responsible for client-requested algorithmic changes and bug fixes. Additional work included unit testing and deployment pipeline changes for the released binary.
